The Stone Wall

This is a 4 part lesson inspired by all the old stone ruins which add to the landscape that is Ireland. We start the drawing on location and move indoors for the painting. Using your iPad or phone as an important tool. The main emphasis here is to create interesting textures, and how to observe while sketching/drawing. You can hear the birds in the countryside which adds to the therapy and enjoyment of painting on location. Barbara completes a detailed sketch on location and does the painting back in the studio.
